How Your Paint Works, and How Correction Fixes It
Your paint has three layers: primer that bonds to the metal, a base coat that holds the color, and a clear coat on top that provides the gloss and protection. Swirls, light scratches, water spots, and fading all live in that clear coat.
Paint correction uses a machine polisher and fine abrasives to level the clear coat down to the bottom of each defect, so light reflects evenly again. The damage is actually removed, not filled in, so it doesn't wash back out.
Clear coat doesn't grow back, so we inspect first and only remove what's needed. Correction costs a fraction of a repaint, helps the car hold its value, and gives a ceramic coating a flawless base to lock in.
